Club
rules

UNBND is about running together and having a good time doing it. A few simple rules keep every run safe and fun for everyone.

On the run

Be on time

Reporting time is when we gather, warm up and go over the route. Running late? Drop a message in the WhatsApp group so nobody waits.

Run your pace, stay with the club

Go as fast or as slow as you like, but don't change the route or head off alone without telling an organiser.

Follow the road rules

Use footpaths and promenades where you can, cross at signals, and keep your music low enough to hear traffic and each other.

Look out for each other

If someone is struggling, hurt or lost, stop and let an organiser know. Nobody gets left behind.

Listen to your body

Feeling unwell, dizzy or in pain? Slow down or stop. If you have a condition we should know about, tell us before the run.

Respect

Be kind to everyone

That includes fellow runners, volunteers and the public. No abuse, harassment, body-shaming or discrimination of any kind.

Ask before you post

Group photos are part of the fun, but some members prefer not to be on social media. Ask before posting close-ups of someone else.

Leave no trace

Carry your wrappers and bottles until you find a bin. Leave every spot the way you found it, or better.

Not at club runs

No alcohol, drugs or smoking

Please don't turn up intoxicated, and no smoking or vaping before or during club runs and races.

No selling or promotions

Please don't sell or promote products or services to members without checking with the organisers first.

Your Club ID is yours

Memberships can't be shared or passed on to someone else.

If things go wrong

Organisers have the final say

If someone isn't following these rules, organisers may ask them to leave the run. Serious or repeated issues can lead to membership being deactivated.
